PATCH

Patch was a member of Sheila Gill's family. Shiela was looking for a dog for her family and called me. I had just gotten Patch back from the family that purchased her because she was nipping at the young children. Patch was 6 months old at this point. Shiela brought her kids over and introduced them to Patch. Patch was leary at first and seemed to shy from children. Shiela took Patch home for a trial week and I received a phone call after 2 days. Patch had worked her way into the families heart and was doing great with the kids. Over the next few years Sheila and I would talk about Patch's latest adventure. Patch would care for the baby chicks they would raise and the baby lamb that had to be bottle fed. Shiela could never stop Patch from chasing cars but she learned all the other necessary doggy things. Her love of life was only outweighed by her love for her faimily. Patch will be missed but will always hold a place in our hearts.
